I finished the games a little earlier:
BlackMamba_1.2b - Gull II 70.0 - 80.0 46.67%
150 out of 150 games played

Re: Black Mamba 1.2b running for the IPON ...
The test of Black Mamba is aborted. Unfortunately I have to many crashes in the endgames. With about 2000 games I had about 1.5%-2% crashes under IPON conditions.
While this is not too much for a single game it is too much for an automated, unatended test run. As the engine performes generaly very well I would have to use it for a long time. Doing this I have to have an absolute stable engine.
But about 2900+ in the IPON is quite an achivement!
Sorry and bye
Ingo

Thank for your time Ingo.
I'll work to fix the bugs that cause the crash.

Is BlackMamba 1.2C a bugfix only or should it be treated as a different engine altogether?chessmann wrote:Hi Ingo, a new fixed version BlackMamba 1.2C is out:IWB wrote:The test of Black Mamba is aborted. The only reason that I ask is that I've been testing both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of 1.2b for CCRL without any problems.

Re: Black Mamba 1.2b running for the IPON ...
All the changes are described on the website of the engine (click on the link and scroll down the website).
BlackMamba 1.2C wrote:Current version 1.2c
The changes are :
Fixed the bug that cause random crashes during endgame (thanks Ingo)
Fixed time manager bug that occurs on long time control
Fixed an annoying bug that "freeze" the engine at 7ply on certain positions
Tuned evaluation
Tuned the limit strength feature (too weak compared to the elo settings)
Fixed misevaluation due to pawn blockages on some positions
