No live broadcast because I'm running this remotely on Ray's computer, but I'll post updates here after each of the 10 cycles has been completed.

Very fine!

I hope Dabbaba will avoid 18 lost games in a row in this tournament

Can't see that happening in this one, although I've already had to replay a loss on time.

Graham,

I really like it that you run these tournaments for the weaker engines. Everyone's efforts should be recognized. Writing a chess program is tough, especially if you're doing it from scratch instead of copying someone else's work. Your tournaments (and George's) encourage everyone, which is really a good thing.

best regards,

Uups. I must adjust that if Dabbaba looses on time.
I have not seen that before at longer time controls.

I did not expect games to be replayed due to timeforfeit

What!?!
That did not happen in the previous tournament?!

Do you want a new version of dabbaba?

I did get time losses in the previous tournament too. Not very many, but I replayed the games as necessary.
No need for a new version yet though. I'd rather get over 200 games done for this version first. :)
