Difference of strength in less cores but equal kn/s?

We all know that all kn/s aren't equal. An engine operating on a 1 core machine would be stronger than if it operated on a 16 core machine if both machines achieved the same kn/s count.

Ok time to bust out the math skills. How much stronger would an engine be if it got the same kn/s speed count on 1 cpu of a computer as it did on 2 cpu of another computer? If it depends on the actual kn/s amount then let's assume the engine gets 2000kn/s on each computer.

Also How much stronger would the engine be if it got the same kn/s on 2 core vs. 8 core of another computer? What about 1 core vs. 8 core? Or 3 core vs. 8 core?
