9th Annual ACCA World Computer Rapid Chess Championships

Post by CRoberson »

Currently looking at the weekend of July 18 & 19. We have typically had the tournament at or near the 19th of July.

If anybody wants to influence the date, now is the time to say so.

The web pages will be up in the next few days.
If you are new to this, you can look over the web pages from previous years at http://aigames.net/ACCA/ACCAWCRCC/WCRCC.html

ICC has been supplying free temporary computer accounts to setup, test and enter the tournament before the tournament. So, register soon and get lots of testing against humans and computers.

Everybody finds bugs in their code when they do this for the first time despite all the automated testing of their own or by the ranking lists. I've seen several 2800+ programs find new issues.
