That's mean human won't stand a chance against Komodo even if it is a F pawn removed.

Well, we should find out Jan 6-7, as two of the games with Nakamura will be f2 and f7 odds. I rate Komodo the favorite at f2, Nakamura the favorite at f7. Other two games Exchange odds and four move odds. Keep in mind that the engine games here are blitz whereas the human matches are 45' + 15".

I would be curious to see how Komodo scores against these same engines at f2 odds, which is of course a much bigger handicap than c2. But even c2 is a serious handicap, probably the largest single pawn after f2 and g2.
