Outlier opening positions after 6 moves

Something different in the way of opening position books (epd file).

Usually opening books of either pgn or epd format have popular, often-used positions. In the download presented here, I looked at approximately 275,000 high level games and the position after 6 moves. I then extracted those positions that occurred only one time exactly in the data set. There are about 18,000 positions.

I cannot say they will lead to less draws, sharper games, or interesting games. But it might be another way to test engines. Assuming of course that you reverse colors for each opening position.
