Programmers and projects

Post by jefk »

Tip to get better known (if you wish):
as many of us already know, there is a list of people involved
with computer chess on the chess programmers wiki:

https://chessprogramming.wikispaces.com/People

(i'm even listed myself although i'm hardly a programmer ;)
Yet, besides chess programming, i suppose many of us
have done other things, some failed, some open source,
some as part of bigger project, whatever. Maybe this
relatively new site can be useful or interesting for
some or many programmers here ?

https://makerbase.co/
(just a tip, i'm not related to this, being modest enough
not to even have added my profile to this site..)

wondering what you would think of it; (personally i
wonder about privacy, but on the other hand it's a good
way to 'advertise' a bit about your own stuff i guess; and just
posting a name without a pic cant to much harm i suppose)
