New engines

According to this interesting blog there could be three (real) new programs available, between all that clone/SF-propeller derivates.
A pity that this site doesn't care much about the difference, otherwise it could be of much more help for the community.
Also the bad manner of adding different private download links or adding pre-links to real links of authors sites etc. is very annoying...

After filtering out all the trash and wrong infos there remains:

1. Drosophila (successor of Pawned)
https://github.com/gustafullberg/drosophila
all previous versions available - current 1.4
Author: Gustav Gullberg => already added to XB/UCI chronology
(unknown to me)

2. Blitzkrieg (successor of BetaChess)
https://github.com/rianneogi/Blitzkrieg
download of build 327 available, but no binary at github found?
current source build 335
Author: Rian Neogi :: not yet checked
(unknown to me)

3. HSperr-CE
not yet checked
no version number?
(unknown to me)

Two other notes:

BBChess 1.3b is announced as 'new', actually it is 7 years old.
GopherCheck rev171 is announced, but I don't know yet if it is different
to the known versions...

*Release of new XB/UCI chronology delayed to 05-30 because of too much complications in the verification process and the sheer quantity of (new and old)data

It would be nice if someone could look at the source of Blitzkrieg (link given in the above post). Somehow it looks familiar to me.

It seems the above given site sometimes quotes from the site below w/o giving credit/source (note that site has similar disadvantages as the first one - clones/stupid derivates etc.):

http://www.chess2u.com/f9-free-chess-engines

This helped to add infos for: (= 3. HSperr-CE from first post)

3. Chengine

Many Blitzkrieg executable files (Windows 64-bit) are available now
for download > GitHub-master package

Norbert
Still unclear for me if it is original...
The other two are ok for me at least.
