DOS oldies collection running on Windows 7 SP1 32-bit

Hello ,

on the (previous) website below I have found several DOS-versions of well known chess engines written in DOS:

D-Fend-Reloaded 1.4.4 is available now (including an update ):

Which kind of files did you import into D-Fend-Reloaded?
conf/prof/archive or complete packages?

strange but true: some engines like Genius 3-DOS run normally (without an extra configuration) with its GUI, for others like Zarkov 2.6 only a prompt of DOS Box 0.74 is opened

The layout of keyboard none was loaded for the code site 437.

What is the difference for such a behaviour?
