Thinker 5.1C Passive

Post by BrendanJNorman »

I've been looking around the net for the engine Thinker 5.1C Passive and can't find it.

All of the download links are expired.

Does anybody have it and if so, could pass it along? :)

Thanks guys.

P.S BTW What versions of Thinker do you think are nicest?!

Look at my rating list : http://home.scarlet.be/vincentlejeune/r ... 160414.txt
The strongest version is : "Thinker 5.4d Inert 64-bit 4CPU"
This one is probably the same : Thinker 5.4di 64-bit 4CPU.

Not that interested in how strong it is per say, buddy.

If I wanted a strong engine, I'd probably grab Hakkapelitta or something.

I like the STYLE in which Thinker plays thats all, and people around the net said that 5.1C has a lovely style, without being so super strong like 5.3b Inert.

I plan to play AGAINST it, you see.

Don't want to get smashed too badly haha.

Regards,

Brendan

P.S I find your rating list very useful by the way.

Hi Brendan,

Actually, I really like how versions 5.4Di and 5.4Da (= active) play. The 'active' personality was the one intended to be anti-human, with a swindle-mode.

There may have been a version with a very aggressive Passive-mode (lol), but I'm not sure which. Since I was happy with 5.4D, I never got around to testing the older versions.
