The xboard command "nps" does not work:

admin@localhost:~$ gnuchess --xboard
Chess
nps 100000
TimeLimit[0] = 0

Is this an error, or is the command unsupported?

If the engine does not print feature nps=1 in response to protover 2 at startup, then the 'nps' command is not supported, and should not be sent to it by the GUI.
