Syzygy tb's problem with asmFish

Post by Hurnavich »

Hi,

I notice when asmFish is added to aquarium and i enter my path to 3 folders for Syzygy tb's it crashes,
but run on one folder all is good it appears to be a multi folder issue.

If run in Fritz gui all is good as the GUI handles the path rather than the engine.

Why use more than one path? 6 piece set is in different place? Then adding 3-5 for same media is no problem! And in syzygy parameters You can limit access to 5 piece if needed.

Thanks for the reply i prefer to keep things the way they are all other engines do not have a problem using multi folders,

If i change the way they are then i will have to change path in all my other engines and GUIs across 3 pc,s

It maybe some code needs changing i think to work as other engines do, a fix may come if the author sees this.

If you want the author to fix it, it might be better to post a bug report on github (under "Issues").

But first make sure you don't have extra spaces in your path, etc.
