The database was damaged in the server crash of this morning. The main damage seems to be that it has added fake 'pages' to some threads, that do not really contain any posts. And selecting those will give you that error. If you select an earlier page, all posts, including the latest, still seem to be there.

But I see replies made by real people, such as in the Fire 5 thread, which unfortunately contain nothing but the aforementioned text. Are you saying those replies are 'fake' or were never made?

I see a difference between thread view and flat view.

Greg, yes, thanks, flat view displays the posts correctly.
Flat view indeed works, but I definitely can not work with it. In spite of all my efforts, I can not understand who writes what, who replies to whom, and what is the thread topic.
If normal thread view is not restored in some way, I am out of here.
PS. The conspiracy theory runs that ardent flat-view supporters have hacked the forum and crashed the database, to disable thread view in the process and get rid from any undesired posters on this forum, who like thread view.
