I only noticed this the other day. I don't know if it has been reported previously.
When a game has been posted using the BBCode pgn tags, such that the chess board and move list are displayed, apart from converting "K,Q,R,B and N" to chess symbols in the game list, it seems that all the "+" signs, which indicate that the move is "checking" the King, get stripped out.
I believe the "+" sign is actually part of the actual move name, and not some comment like "?" or "=" etc. would be, and should not be removed.

You are right and I never noticed it, but I don't think it is very important,Colin-G wrote:I only noticed this the other day. I don't know if it has been reported previously.

because you can always look at the original source and reimport it in
whatever GUI you like by clicking on 'c8' or 'd8'.
Here is a full list of the commands by clicking on a square of such a game: (can be retrieved also by clicking on the 'g8' square)
