Hello,
SA Chess v1.5 with dual cores engine is freeware now
http://www.sachess.com/sa_chess/
UI new feature:
.....
supported UCI and UCCI protocol both
Perhaps this feature is probably bulit-in into shareware editions because
Advance>Setup>Engine Setup > only SA Chess x86 can be selected, no other engine.
But why UCI? - UCCI is the Chinese Chess UCI protocol!
Best wishes,
Norbert

Re: SA Chess XiangQi software - Chinese Chess GUI
Some Xiangqi engines are UCI. In particular Cyclone, a very strong commercial engine, which also comeswith a UCI Xiangqi GUI. But even this is not fully UCI compliant, but uses a UCI dialect (the 'Cyclone dialect'), which does omit the 'position' keyword, and does not know 'startpos'. But since the GUI is quite popular, some other Xiangqi engines use that dialect too.
