I have some of them, burt sorting them out can take a while.

BTW Enano and OldBlindDog are plain clones and I have never heard of Matrix 99, but the phony name suggests it could be a clone too.
Otherwise I should know it...

Arena website Matrix = WB enabled Cray Blitz (predecessor of Crafty)

By the way: I wrote an email to Andrew Fan because
his websites are not available due to the following error indications:

Firefly > We're sorry, but it seems that this DynDNS hostname has been deactivated. - DNS-address of the server fireflychess.dyndns.org was not found

KKFChess > connection failed, no connection establishment to the server freespace.virgin.net

The only Matrix I found in a little research is just another stockfish clone...

According to this thread it seems it was just a strangely named build of a Crafty version, compiled by Nolan Denson.
In 1999 Crafty existed already since long, when CrayBlitz was history.

It is just a slightly modified Crafty version of 2002 done by an over enthusiastic non-programmer, who told this would be the best Crafty version ever.
He did only a few games against weaker and/or handicapped opponents and was really convinced of what he was saying ;-)
Also he forgot about the license in the beginning and of course it did not play better. (fake news was still not commonly known then)
So this was the reason it was never mentioned and not seriously tested and it has nothing to do with CrayBlitz whatsoever.
