Now that Komodo 10.4 has at least 300 games on each of the main rating lists, here is a summary of the relative ratings of the top engines, averaged over all lists that include both compared engines. The ratings used are:
Ipman 8cpu, IPON, FastGM 10' + 6", CEGT 40/20 (both 4 cpu and 1 cpu), and CCRL (1 cpu only since 4 cpu has few games so far).
Komodo 10.4 vs Komodo 10.3: + 30 elo
Komodo 10.4 vs Houdini 5 (or 5.01): +13.5 elo.
Komodo 10.4 vs Stockfish 8: -1.5 elo (well below error margin).
If we consider only the two MP results, we are +11.5 vs Stockfish 8, and a whopping +33 vs Houdini 5.

Re: Komodo 4 on the rating lists
Don't forget chess960
The numbers there are (pure list):
Komodo 10.4 vs Houdini 5.01: -37 Elo
Komodo 10.4 vs Stockfish 8: -48 Elo
Yes it is blitz and 1CPU of course, which is a million miles away from a typical analysis usage scenario.
On standard chess blitz

Komodo 10.4 vs Houdini 5.01: -26 Elo
Komodo 10.4 vs Stockfish 8: -27 Elo
Without looking at the actual numbers with a calculator, I think Komodo 10.4 has closed the performance gap a little between chess960 and standard chess since 10.2
