Below Houdini 5 at 1 min
Equal to Houdini 5 at 10 min
Equal to Stockfish 8 at 1h.

Very nice progress here. +26 elo at 1h time control is not easy to get. Most of the time the engines doesn't improve so much in this TC.

But it still loose versus Stockfish in direct encounter ( it did 45% ) and close to Houdini 5 ( 50,7% ).

So Komodo hit the first spot with Stockfish 8 because it is slighty better against weaker opponent.

That's won't be enough to win the next TCEC , but there is time until that and it seems Komodo is now the one who is making fastest progress for now.

FGRL games have been playing on 1 core system, but last TCEC Superfinal were played on a 44-core system.
In my opinion Komodo is the favorite of next TCEC Tournament.

Don't you think Stockfish scale as good as Komodo ?

Stockfish 8 vs. Komodo 10.4 score is from bullet to long: 55,2% 53,8% and 55,0%. No scaling difference visible? Interestingly IPON score with ponder was exactly 55,0% also. Personally I am not interested how engines scores against weaker engines - the weakest UCI engine I have installed is Komodo 10!

Scaling with more time and scaling with more cores/threads are two different issues, though the first will help the second. I think it is clearer that Komodo scales better than Stockfish with more cores than with more time.
Komodo rules!
