Official Stockfish now includes NNUE. That is Stockfish-dev. If you compile and run with "Use NNUE = false" (the default setting) then you will get Stockfish-dev using just the classical (non-NNUE) evaluation.corres wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 12:07 pmThanks, I search for the src of Stockfish-dev, on Github.com.... there is only the NNUE version others are the binaries only.zullil wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 11:29 amhttps://abrok.eu/stockfish/

Re: Where we can find Stockfish-dev (default)
It is pity but not true. SF+NNUE has a lot of modification considering the real Stockfish-dev. These can be deleted but it is rather time consuming thing. I think on CCC the real sf-dev is playing.zullil wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 12:26 pmOfficial Stockfish now includes NNUE. That is Stockfish-dev. Note
Old Stockfish-dev is not so weak as it seems from SF+NNUE against old Stockfish-dev matches

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by Stockfish-dev. The last version of Stockfish before NNUE was merged can be gotten here:corres wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 4:11 pmIt is pity but not true. There is no such thing as an official Stockfish-dev that does not include the NNUE version yet is up to date.corres wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 5:01 pmThanks. This source really belongs to the last (20.07.31.), the old Stockfish-dev.zullil wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 4:25 pm ...

On CCC Stockfish Classic plays (updated 16.08.2020.), authors are the old ones without Japanese contributors. The speed of Classic is ~50 % higher than SF+NNUE with classic eval.syzygy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 5:06 pmThere is no such thing as an official Stockfish-dev that does not include the NNUE version yet is up to date.corres wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 5:01 pmThanks. You will need to contact CCC and ask them what they compiled to produce that binary.corres wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 11:36 pmOn CCC Stockfish Classic plays (updated 16.08.2020.), authors are the old ones without Japanese contributors. Be aware that the name a Stockfish binary gives itself reflects the date that it was compiled.
Code: Select all
/// engine_info() returns the full name of the current Stockfish version. This
/// will be either "Stockfish <Tag> DD-MM-YY" (where DD-MM-YY is the date when
/// the program was compiled) or "Stockfish <Version>", depending on whether
/// Version is empty.
