I do not know, but my testing shows on phone cpu speeds, it should crush all other engines on a phone or tablet. I hope Droidfish updates soon.

Maybe until version 12 Stockfish will we see a Nnue engine, it's the last program (Android) to get updated.

Here the last SF for android compiles from OutSkirts forum and Skynet, the best compiler expert on Android :

For old Armv7 phones (32 bits) :
http://outskirts.altervista.org/forum/d ... php?id=915

Armv8 (64 bits) :
http://outskirts.altervista.org/forum/d ... php?id=916

Just install UCI engines in droidfish/uci folder and run !

For the NNUE nets it's here :
https://comp.nus.edu.sg/~sergio-v/nnue/

Net 20200814-1035.bin is the best.

does the nnue even work? engine is terminating when I try to install it with nnue enabled. when nnue is disabled then engine installs and works.

Terminating appears, when the engine doesn't find the NNUE net. Copy the net to your uci folder or (better) create a subfolder (e. g. "eval") in that directory and copy the net to that folder. In the engine settings point to the NNUE net.

Another interesting compile is NetRunner, where you can switch on and off the hybrid functionality. Off means, the engine only uses the NNUE evaluation.

Android compiles: http://outskirts.altervista.org/forum/v ... &start=170

NNUE nets can also be downloaded from: https://tests.stockfishchess.org/nns

I'm pretty sure this net is best, ymmv.

https://www.comp.nus.edu.sg/~sergio-v/n ... 2-2257.bin

Same as the current net in SF development.

100k per move ? - how about 1,000K nodes per move?
I agree it's close - but if the net author (Sergio) really believed it was better - do you not think he would have submiited a PR?
