Utility to validate Syzygy tablebases?

Post by MuguJack »

Just checking if there is a utility available to tell one what Syzygy tablebases you are missing from a given set of files?
It would also be nice if it could validate the files against the published checksums, though that process might take a while to complete.

Apologies if I missed the answer to this searching or this is a duplicate/wrong post.

If my memory is correct , the more recent versions of crafty would tell the user which file is not being loaded due to corruption.

Banksia GUI has a tool to verify syzygy egtbs. Although 1/3 of the bases downloaded from Sesse Tablebase website did not pass.

Any explainations on this matter.

Thanks Geunther, Banksia does indeed do the trick.
If you want to verify your Syzygy tablebases, downloading Banksia is the easy way.
