CCRL Blitz for ECO B

Post by dkappe »

Before anyone criticizes me for statistical significance, the error bars for SFDev in the underlying data are already huge. In addition, there have been no NNUE vs Lc0 contests. Someone needs a new GPU. :D

Code: Select all

   # PLAYER : RATING ERROR POINTS PLAYED (%) CFS(%) W D L D(%)
   1 Stockfish 2021-02-11 64-bit 8CPU : 3723 ---- 106.5 152 70.1 82 65 83 4 54.6
   2 Fat Fritz 2 (in SF) 64-bit 8CPU : 3705 39 325.0 474 68.6 100 185 280 9 59.1
   3 Dragon by Komodo 64-bit 8CPU : 3636 38 369.5 600 61.6 97 182 375 43 62.5
   4 Stoofvlees II a16 RTX2080 : 3594 43 214.5 411 52.2 50 82 265 64 64.5
   5 Lc0 0.26.3 t40-1541 RTX2080 : 3594 43 156.0 283 55.1 66 67 178 38 62.9

No engine can claim to be the #1 without a large number of games against the latest lc0+net.
Fat Titz by Stockfish, the engine with the bodaciously big net. Remember: size matters. If you want to learn more about this engine just google for "Fat Titz".

Christ, give it time. Testing of that SF Dev version only started yesterday, and the RTX2080 games are in progress. Do you expect miracles ?

What did they used to say at Microsoft? “Windows ain’t done until 123 won’t run.” Hmmm, “CCRL ain’t done until latest development stockfish is number 1.”

Maybe hold off updating the list until you have enough games?
