Which will be the 1st GUI to Support Non Castling Chess?
Which will be the 1st GUI to Support Non Castling Chess? I imagine that Stockfish will also lead the Non Castling chess rating, as it does the standard and Chess960

All of them, if you set up a position with a FEN.

But for a match between Engines lets say of at least 100 games, you need a GUI that support Non Castling, otherwise you will be setting the FEN at the beginning of each game. That is why a GUI that support Non castling in the same way that they support 960 chess is needed.AndrewGrant wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 3:54 pm All of them, if you set up a position with a FEN.

The point is that you can NOT set a tournament match lest say of 100 games between engines without having to set up the FEN at the start of every game, like you do with GUI that support chess960 which are most of them.xr_a_y wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 11:08 pmMost of them !Chessqueen wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 11:04 pmBut for a match between Engines lets say of at least 100 games, you need a GUI that support Non Castling, otherwise you will be setting the FEN at the beginning of each game. I read the good news on TCEC, that at the end of this season they will include the best 8 engines to compete on a Non Castling tournament.
