When you play against the "Maximum" bot on chess.com, it appears to be named "stockfish" in the javascript. So it is some sort of Stockfish, not exacly sure which version though. And The Magnus 29 bot is from an app called "Play Magnus" which is (was?) developed by Tord Romstad (one of stockfish early devs), and is based on his earleir engine Glaurung (which Stockfish is also based on). So basically it's Stockfish vs it's distant cousin.
