Enjoy!
Thanks to the video posted at the ChessBase article of some months ago, when they are sitting about 1:06 in the video, the position after the first four moves is already set! Did they take a break after four moves? Then comes 5.- g3 blundering e4 pawn according to the video you posted, but it is not taped anywhere or at least I did not find it. Then comes a great game which I have not found a single PGN, bearing in mind that the players are so famous, and furthermore it was some months ago, so plenty of time to record the game.

Do you remember the following topic opened by you?

An incredibly precise game by Anatoli Ivanishin

Chances of a pre-arranged game or a simple photo session without any moves played are very high IMHO. What do you think?

Please do not misunderstand me: I was unaware of this game and the black attack is quite good and I really enjoyed it, although I think that it is too good for being real.

------------

Searching images about the game I found this one:

Image

Tyson playing something like 5.- ..., Nc6-xx instead of the supposed 5.- ..., Nxe4 of the video of the OP of this thread supports my idea of a photo session or at least not the fantastic attack of the black side.

The next one is quite good indeed: a photo taken from the other side of the board and... surprise!

Light on right is not compulsory anymore. The chess clock also changed of side of the board along with the position of clock hands. There was a serious flaw in raccord or photo continuity for the trained eye.

Anyway, it was a nice gesture to give (more) visibility to chess.

I don't think there is any flaw, just one of the images is mirrored for whatever reason. The crystal dish (whatever it is) slants away from Arnold in both photos, and the picture he is sitting under is the same. Doubt they rearranged the pictures on the wall for different photos....

I thought about a mirrored image for copyright issues while I was writing my first post for some details I realised: the clock hands, the objects on the table and the picture frames show mirrored patterns. It still does not solve the non-compliance of the touch-move rule (touching the knight instead of touching the d-pawn, though that rule may be overlooked in a friendly game) and the fact that the first moves were already set up.

GM Smirnov's video looks like what could have happened after the position shown in photos, but not what really happened, pointing out some interesting themes like two hanging pieces at the same time. It is very respectable 'constructing' hypothetic games from positions (what could have happened?) and I really enjoyed the explanations.

I reaffirm my thought that it was a staging of two famous people (and probably friends, I don't know) playing skill games (I mean, not very physically exhausting in principle), as opposed to what we were used to see from these two.

I also want to correct a typo from my first post in this topic: it is not '5.- ..., Nxe4' but '5.- ..., dxe4' when talking about the touch-move rule.
