I am very impressed with Firouzja. He is #9 in the world now and has been playing strong, aggressive chess. He is currently in the lead in the Riga Grand Swiss.

I am also impressed by Firozja, which is 1 year older and about 110 ratings more, but Firouzja has been playing the Big Guns for over a year which give him the chance to increase his ratings, whereas GM Nihal is just starting to play the Chess Stars

It is not about how fast you climb, since most Kids that became GMs at a young age, if that was the case would have become World Champions

Admittedly, I am not a fan of his, but math says the 'odds are against it'.
