ChessBase 16 - Mega package Edition 2022

I want to buy this off Amazon as I get 5% back or I can pay in installments interest free BUT they are selling them as DVD's. My newest laptop has no DVD. So my question is can I copy these DVD's and then throw them on a thumb drive and install them, I am mostly concerned with copy protection schemes. I tried throwing this question at CB support but I cannot even get past their Captcha verification It keeps giving me an error. I got this on another site. Probably something to do with Windows 10 as I just started using it. I had been using Windows 8.1 and never had a problem with them.

You can purchase this as a download. Just select that choice when you are checking out from the ChessBase store. Probably can't do that via Amazon, but I am not sure. ChessBase has sales from time to time.

Amazon does have downloads for software but that's for more common known software. Chessbase 16 with Mega Database isn't on most people's list so they don't have a download option. I'll get it one way or another. Already spent $1,600 for a really fast gaming laptop.
