Stockfish is playing a great tourney.
Gigantic move average, gigantic quantity on miniature games.
Only in the the passage to the endgame to many draws.
But I think this have nothing to do with Stockfish, more or less with the Neural Network skills so many others become.
It need over 800 games Stockfish lost the first game.
In this case vs. Nirvanachess 2.5!

Looks like a kind of advanced horizon problem. After not playing Nf3+ Black
has lost the fight for the e-file forever and zero counterplay.
With the natural follow-up moves 18. Bxf3 Qxf3 19. Rfe1 Kf8 I don't see how
Black can lose this.

a) The opening is very balanced and with high draw percentages, so fair play in this aspect. Thanks to Shredder Online Chess Opening Database, I found a similar game including transpositions up to 14.- ..., Nxe5. Then Nirvanachess played 15.- b3 where 15.- Qc3 was played in that game from year 1960. I was lucky searching at ChessGames and found the game:

Analysing with SF 14 (default NNUE net enabled) and Multi-PV = 7 just before 27.- ..., f5:
SF did not consider the bishop sac up to depth 31 in my run. Then playing 27.- ..., f5, clearing hash, restarting SF and analysing with Multi-PV = 7 again:
SF does not evaluate the bishop sac as a white advantage up to depth 32 with Multi-PV = 7. I ran both analysis with four threads, so these are not deterministic searches so far and YMMV.

c) Nirvanachess missed a checkmate in one in the second to last move of the game, delaying it one move:

It is curious to see a top engine missing a checkmate in one.

81.- Qd6# would have finished the game; however, Nirvanachess played 81.- Rc8+, then 81.- ..., Kd7 by SF (the only legal move) and Nirvanachess checkmated with 82.- Qd8# (there were three more mating moves available: 82.- Qd5#, 82.- Qgf7# and 82.- Qg4#). It is curious to see a top engine missing a checkmate in one.

End of the games:
Yes, many chess programs have problems with mate-distance or need time for the calculation Mate in 5, Mate in 4 ... Mate in 1. I await that such moves engines can play without thinking. With longer time controls I lost many time-resources. I switched information about it in CSS Forum with the programmer of RubiChess. Andreas will change that (no time for moves like Mate-5, Mate-4). Andreas does a lot in reduce the game length. Move average from RubiChess, for the level RubiChess have, is great. I wish me that programmers checked the end of the games from my tourney and try to optimate his programs.
Often, I am thinking that the programmers no looking in games without resign-mode.
Most are playing test-games with resign = on.
To the game:
Just interesting because Stockfish is 450 Elo stronger with the time control, I am using as Nirvana. Yes, the move 27. ... f5 seems to be the main problem for the lost game. But after all, for humans not easy to see because the position is very complicated after 28. Bxf5. Nirvana is playing very strong moves and won the game.
Opening:
Yes, the tourney is running with equal and best A00-E99 FEOBOS positions, checked by 10 engines. Opening is drawish but offer in my opinion enough possibilities for interesting games.
