Shortest time control for SF + CuteChess GUI?

Shortest time control for SF + CuteChess GUI?

It's stunning, that with 1s + 0,010s no time losses with graphics running! But if I set time per move = 1s instantly time loss. Something wrong with CuteChess?

Addition: No time losses if You play 100moves/0,1s. So 1ms for move. And some claim GUI is slow :) .
