Happy Birthday to Vas!

Post by Eelco de Groot »

Not sure if he ever visits this place anymore but I just wanted to congratulate Vas on his fiftyfirst birthday, today! Of course, he is a Pisces!

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first
place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you
are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

Belated happy birthday.
That massive debate which went on for years aside, Vas was a lot of fun to have around.

It's incredible to think that one third of my life was completely changed because of Vasik Rajlich. I can't even imagine how the world would have been without Rybka. Delayed congrats!

Accusations without evidence are now considered good form, and the demand for evidence is considered bad form. "How dare you doubt that this bad guy did it?!"

We had this "Where is Vas" thread in the Rybka forum. Ran for years :) I believe someone spotted Vas's car once. I'm not sure but it could have been this, or entirely another make and model. This is a picture from 2018, so it is still fairly recent. But could it be that Vas is also a football fan now? He was interested in baseball too I believe, so not impossible. Or it is not a football mascotte in the back window?
