Koivisto showing 63-64% CPU usage

Post by Damir »

Even though I have set number of Threads to 126 from 128, the engine is only using 63-64% of its CPU usage.
Here is the picture:

Also it seems the engine has evaluation bug as well.. it keeps showing 0.00 while the opponent has clear advantage

My opinion regarding this engine, despite all its improvements the engine is playing like a patzer... Even Crafty will do better than this.. :( :(

The CPU usage is very interesting and will be investigated. We assumed problems regarding SMP before and observed that at TCEC and similar events.
I am sure Crafty will not do better if they would play each other.

Also the images dont seem to lead anywhere or cannot be opened by people who are not logged in. Consider just adding them as normal images here.
Could you perhaps open an Issue on our github and post your results? https://github.com/Luecx/Koivisto/issues Thanks in advance!

I will try and do my best, but inserting images does not seem to be working, which was the reason for me providing the links to the images.

Is there another way of inserting the images without the links , and if so what shall I do ?

you can also just insert the images if you create a new issue on our github page.
