When creating a new tournament in Arena it always has the default save location in the Downloads folder on my C: drive.
It does allow you to change it for each tournament but when create a new one it uses the default location again which is annoying.
Anyone know how I can permanently define where the default location for tournaments is? I can't find a setting in the gui, I looked in the config file and looked in the registry but I don't see it. Thank you..

Re: Define default tournament save location in Arena
I have used Arena GUI for nearly 20 years for my engine-engine matches on many different computers using Windows 98, XP, 7 and 10 plus many linux OS using wine.
I have never had to set a folder to save various tournaments in.
Arena has always saved its tournament details in the Tournaments folder, immediately inside the main Arena folder.
This folder is created automatically when Arena is installed.

Yes, it's doing that, I am asking if I can change the tournament save location. It only seems to allow you to change it on a per tournament basis, the next tournament and the default save locations come back. I have multiple drives on my computer and I would like the tournament directory to be located on another drive instead of my C-drive.Colin-G wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 11:14 am I have used Arena GUI for nearly 20 years for my engine-engine matches on many different computers using Windows 98, XP, 7 and 10 plus many linux OS using wine.

Hi John,
no network compatibility in the time I am working with Martin on Arena.
For newer versions since I gave up with the work around Arena I can't give any information.
For the things you like to do is Shredder GUI much better.
Same I do with my FCP-Tourney-Ki ...
Three systems are running here via network and one tournament file (*.sto organizaton from Shredder GUI).
Best
Frank
Shredder GUI is for such things very stable.
