Which Opening has the higher % of win and which defense is the best
Is it true that statistically 1.e4 has the highest percentage of wins , and if that is true which Black defense has the highest percentage against the 1.e4..., I found this, but it does NOT say if it is based on human vs human games or Engine vs Engine ==> https://thechessworld.com/articles/open ... and-black/

It is definitely NOT based on data sourced from engine-engine games.
Mainstream chess players always rely on human games database, even more so in that era. (This article was dated 2012)

Therefore, based on TCEC engines games and CCRL we could extrapolate the answer from databases of preview games played.
