nice to see the page has some download links.

Just wonder how many of these games have pgns available.

Now I want to hunt down the physical book! :)

There are links at the end of each chapter, some of which point to the games on chessgames.com where you can download the PGN. :wink:

Thanks, have just had a look, the chessgames.com links are very valuable!

Queen's birthday long weekend coming up here in Australia, so will spend a good bit of time exploring these!

Very nice! Best taken as a snapshot of the decade after Deep Blue through the lens of public tournaments (human matches, ICGA and CCT; hence only one mention of Stockfish). Did they ever publish an errata?

I'd like to see a similar work about the period 2005-present, this time through the lens of engine rating lists.
