Berserk -9-dev Vs Komodo Dragon 2.6.1 Elo = 3490

Post by Chessqueen »

I decided to set Komodo Dragon Elo = 3490 and pit it against Berserk-9-dev, after 90 games out of 100 at T/C 15/10 the score is equal 45 to 45. Probably Berserk-9-dev strength is around 3490

Note that although the Elo levels up thru 2900 on Dragon (2.6 or 3.0, especially 3.0) are tuned to be reasonably accurate against strong human players at Rapid (15' + 10") time control, Elo ratings beyond that cannot of course be tested against humans, and the 3500 elo assigned to default Dragon on one thread is based on the CCRL 40/15 (Rapid) ratings (3492 for Dragon 2.6, 3504 for Dragon 3). Elo 3400 is the highest level really tested for Dragon. So setting the elo to 3490 for this match just amounts to saying that Dragon 2.6 on one thread is slightly stronger than Berserk 9, not much more than that can be concluded from your test. Note also that your game score says "Komodo 13.02", not "Dragon 2.6", was that another typo?

Here is game number 99, Yes my in score I mistyped Komodo 13.02, it should have been Dragon 2.6, and Final score was 52 to 48 in favor of Dragon 2.6.1 Elo = 3490

And the last game 100 Final score was 52 to 48 in favor of Dragon 2.6.1 Elo = 3490. I expect that at T/C 15/10 Breserk-9-dev to be slightly stronger than Komodo Dragon 2.6.1 or 3.0 set at Elo = 3490
