It is a very important subject that the majority of chess Players have to learn how to deal during chess tournament and only by learning how to cope with Nervousness and anxiety we can perform at our best. This is a very important video. Tell us about your own experience and how you deal with this issue during tournaments ==>

I don't know who this 'esports' player is or how good he is at chess...likely he is not.Chessqueen wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 2:44 pm It is a very important subject that the majority of chess Players have to learn how to deal during chess tournament and only by learning how to cope with Nervousness and anxiety we can perform at our best. 80%+ of the video is pretty pointless (and talks about non-chess games...meditating on the toilet, etc) and even the 'caller' says he has never played in an OTB tourney....then he finally says the important thing: Lack of Knowledge and ability (he says 'improve') and doesn't really address it well. He should because most people 'study' by solving isolated tactical puzzles - where you analyze to a specific outcome that is there...which is not really what happens DURING game play, which I call 'analyzing into darkness'.
40+ years of OTB tournament play tell me the main things are:
1. The more knowledge you have and can recall during battle regarding situations you encounter and perhaps more importantly
2. The ability to put what you know into practice via the creative act (playing the game)
Drastically lowers stress/anxiety during play.
