What is the correct rating from 1.1.2000?
rating from 1.10.2001 is also not the same.
What site to believe fide or historical data?

Olimpbase is dead since over four years it seems.Uri Blass wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 12:04 pm http://www.olimpbase.org/Elo/player/Har ... %20P..html

Also what is if both are (were) right in 2018?
What if FIDE does recalculations periodically?
(e.g. eliminating of cheaters - discarding games from certain tournaments - adding later past games from certain tournaments and so on - I can imagine lots of reasons)

Olimpbase has no new data in the last 4 years but it is the only site that I know to get older rating than 1.1.2000Guenther wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 1:02 pmOlimpbase is dead since over four years it seems.Uri Blass wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 12:04 pm http://www.olimpbase.org/Elo/player/Har ... %20P..html

76 elo is no small difference in rating for 1.1.2000
2430 based on fide for 1.1.2000
2354 based on olimpbase for 1.1.2000
1.7.2000 both have 2500.
if Fide does recalculations periodically then I see no reason that it changes significantly 1.1.2000 without changing 1.7.2000 and in most cases fide and olimpbase have the same rating in the same date.
I did all the research to build some table for the maximal rating of top players at young age in order to find players who improved singificantly only when they were relatively old.
Out of players above 2700 I can mention Sam Shankland that did not have more than 2201 before age 16
I can mention also Igor Kovalenko that his best rating under age 20 was 2453 but got a rating above 2700(got down but still top 100 player) because usually players who get rating above 2700 are already strong GM's when they are 20 years old.
One interesting question is if there is a strong GM player who started to play chess only after age 20.
I found Georgy Pilalov who had his first fide rating only in 2000 when his birth year was 1974 but I do not know when he really started and in 2000 first fide rating above 2300 was not rare

Note that I believe that No player in the world broke the records of Judit Polgar that had a fide rating of 2555 when she was below 12.5 years old and had a rating of 2355 when she was 10.5 years old and it may be interesting if you think somebody is going to break her records in the future.

I found historical ranking of players in the following site
https://chessnumbers.wordpress.com/prodigy-watch/
Judit is the best before age 13 and 12.5 and it seems that she is not the best even for age 10.5
I wonder if somebody can break Judit record for age 12.5 in the future.
