What is the biggest upset between engines ?

Post by Chessqueen »

We always see upset between two human players, but what is the biggest upset that you have witness between two engines, for instance a 3100 vs 3400 rated engine? Please post the game.

Blunder's not a top engine, and this wasn't a huge upset, but I remember from Bastiball's Mini-TCEC championship last year, Blunder 7.4.1 (~2560), beat Colossus 2021b, 2748. So about a 190 Elo gap:

Micro-Max once beat Glaurung in a bullet game that I had started for testing a new GUI feature.

This is the biggest upset that I have seen between engines, after Rubichess beat Stockfish 3 about 7 times straight I returned back form the grocery store and saw this draw WOW.

This is strange but I increase the time control to 1800/10 and for the 2nd game I used the 3-4-5 EGTB, and re-started the same game from move 22 , but from move 26 the game took a different direction and the game was a totally different game, but still ended up in a DRAW, which to me regardless of the T/C it is the biggest upset that I have seen between 2 engines
