CDrill 2000 is realeased with Sinful and Decent options to weaken the engine.

There is an update in CDrill 2000 related to Decent option. Sometimes it will mate its opponent because if it plays a suboptimal move, it will get a very bad position. The update will now take this very bad position than winning the game.

In a test against NEG, It prefers draws, and losing.

Under Arena I use a common hash table setting of 256 MB. Still, CDrill displays it uses only 128 and indeed it seems so.

Thanks for the fix. It says it uses 256 now although the amount displayed by Arena is 196 but I guess that's OK?

Thanks for this release and also for the extra parameters, the material weight parameter for BOTH sides is useful. I have noticed that the 2000 version does not show multi PV mode in analysis? (the 1800 version does) anyway a fun engine to use and tweak.

The multipv is there but disabled it for the user at this time. I will enable it in future versions. The option Sinful and Decent options are actually using the multipv behind the scene.
