My test for Kookaburra v1.00 BMI2

Post by Sylwy »

Hello !

I was curious (extremely) to see what versions of Stockfish with the changed logo (perhaps with a different number - I was talking about the shoes-maybe for 1-2 parameters  ) the academics from cHeSs2U aKaDeMy still manufacture. Below you have an example (much praised and trumpeted by the experts of many cloners "schools"...):

So....match conditions:

-TC=4'+2"
-Hash=256 MB
-GUI: Arena 3.5.1
-Book: SuperGM_4mvs.abk (8 plies book) for both engines
-1 thread-CPU=Intel i5-7400-3GHz (Kaby Lake)
-TBS: 6-men Syzygy bases for both engines
-NNs: defaults
-OS: Windows 10 Home.

The final result:

Image

+7 -2 =91

+21 Elo points in 100 games for the fish that became a bird !

For comparison (only):

Stockfish_221030_x64_bmi2:

Image

+5 -1 =94

+14 Elo points in 100 games.

SpectralByLOBO-BMI2 (in fact the latest public version of StockfishMZ- immediately after the outbreak of the scandal with the Eman team):

Image

+14 -1 =95

+49 Elo points in 100 games-this latest StockfishMZ is the absolute champion on my PC !

With only 100 games, all you can conclude is that they perform about the same, which is to be expected with clones.
