Now, the Winter Tournament is taking place (other engines have been added). I will post the final cross table next week. During Christmas Winter Tournament 2 will take place with many rarities from my huge collection.......and I will listen to beautiful carols......

I changed my mind a bit: without UCI and WB engines. Only 22 Native ChessBase engines in my tournament!

Conditions:

-TC=4'+2"
-Hash=64 MB
-GUI: Fritz 8
-Book: Fritz8.ctg for all engines
-1 thread-CPU=Intel i5-7400-3GHz (Kaby Lake)
-TBS: 5-men Nalimov for all engines that support them (most)
-OS: Windows 10 Home.

My interest in chess engines that use data accumulators (neural networks, experience files) has decreased considerably. This
technology seems to have reached its limits. It's not like the chess game was solved. It's just that the top engines use the
same technology (I don't want it to be understood that in all cases only the logo differs). Two years (and a few months)
cumulative technology has had its say. Qualitative technology? Today's engines are like a hard-working child, who learned a
lot, unfortunately nature was not too generous with the genetic combination at birth. True AI technology also requires
appropriate (more advanced) processing algorithms, not just data (even if they are ultra-processed).

Interesting to see how old (quality) engines behave on a modern computer system.
