Another Stockfish Clone/ Genko

Post by mehmet123 »

Genko 1.0 is ready:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/wg8kqgx6 ... 0.zip/file

Genko is a Stockfish derivative chess engine. Genko is based on Stockfish 19/11/2022. I added this version the latest green patch (adjDepth2)
https://tests.stockfishchess.org/tests/ ... ltc_only=1

I used a different NNUE net (nn-154550620475) in this chess engine.
This NNUE net beat default NNUE net (nn-ad9b42354671) two times (+0.35 elo, +0,47 elo).

I did not name this chess engine "Kayra" because I didn't add any new code to this chess engine. I analyzed some patches that failed at Fishtest and made some minor changes on those patches and added them back to this chess engine's code.

Is this engine stronger than Kayra? I will check them with my test suite.

In My test, Kayra 1.7 managed 106 soluations, Genko 1.0 only 105. The solution times of Kayra 1.7 were also better.

Here is the txt file for Genko 1.0:

All other results, see here:

This is essentially Stockfish? What benefit would I get over using standard Stockfish?
Fat Titz by Stockfish, the engine with the bodaciously big net. Remember: size matters. If you want to learn more about this engine just google for "Fat Titz".

Unless you're doing chess engine and opening book tests or playing in tournaments like Playchess, it's practically useless. Genko is a much newer chess engine yet I don't think it's as powerful as the other Stockfish derivative chess engine Kayra that I've developed.

Stockfish dev was in my testsuite weak, but the newest version of Stockfish (231022) managed 105 soluations and is as good as Genko .

I didn' t develop these engines(Kayra/Genko) to solve more chess problems. I like to organize tournaments between chess engines. It wouldn't interest me too much if a chess engine that played poorly in these tournaments could solve chess problems very well.
