Toxic threads This Persion is Wrong

Post by peter »

Opening one of those makes Chrome freeze for time- out regularly since yesterday, regards
Peter.

my browser says "...loading PGN data...", the .js script for displaying seems working, hence I guess the PGN data is corrupt.

I can only choose between clicking wait again and again or close the CCC- site (browser doesn't crash, changing http- address works and returning to CCC sites then again too, but opening one of the two threads makes CCC get out of order here from Austrian domain with Chrome and Win 10 each time I try since about 10 hours now).
No problem with not opening one of the two threads, just for telling, regards
Peter.

Hello:

Using the 'view source' trick on Chrome (Ctrl+U), I managed to isolate and correct the proposed PGN, plus the proposed plan:

The problem was at the last move (Kc6! instead of Kc6). That single exclamation mark ruined all the PGN and the threads.

Once bypassed the issue: is 4.- ..., Kc6 a draw resource for black?

Regards from Spain.

After move 4. Nde6 Crystal has many 0,00 moves:

Analysis by Crystal 5 KWK bmi2:

1. = (0.00): 4...c5 5.c4 Ke8 6.Kg4 Ke7 7.Kh3
2. = (0.00): 4...Kc6 5.Kg4 Kb7 6.h5 c6 7.Nd8+ Kc8 8.Nde6
3. = (0.00): 4...Kc8 5.Kg4 a5 6.h5 Kb7 7.Nd8+ Kb8 8.Nde6
4. = (0.00): 4...a5 5.Kg4 Kc8 6.h5 Kb7 7.Nd8+ Kb8 8.Nde6
5. = (0.00): 4...c6 5.Kg4 a6 6.h5 Ke8 7.Nc7+ Kf7 8.Nce6
6. = (0.00): 4...a6 5.Kg4 c6 6.h5 Ke8 7.Nc7+ Kf7 8.Nce6

This is difficult.

Many solving engines can avoid losing to White as long as the Black Queen is NOT traded for the two Knights, :roll:

As Mihai wrote in the toxic thread already, there was a cooked version of the study discussed in several fora way back then.
Kornrade gave this link in closed thread about it too:

https://chichitza.ro/Chess.html?lang=de&aux=01

The correct position

[fen]3k4/2pq3p/pp5R/4P3/P6P/2PN4/1PN3K1/8 w - - 0 1[/fen]

has pawn on h6, not on h7, regards
Peter.

Why has you embedded the pgn NOT between pgn /pgn

I saw only pgn (missing /pgn), that might have also an issue !

The same behaves in the Toxic-Thread

I have deleted the [] brackeds in this Example, because the will here show an board in initial position.

This is what people should expect when they open a chessqueen post.
