DOG(pc) will participate! (if all goes well)
It fixed an important bug in the asp.win. handling (which could cause an infinite loop until time was up).

Sorry to say Chess System Tal kept hanging (thinking but not playing a move, sometimes). Rebooted and continued several times but it all got too impossible. I'll try and make sure all is functional for February. Apologies to the other players and the organisers.

Re: On-line engine blitz tourney January
This time Belfish won the tournament. Although the differences are small, Stockfish still is a little bit too strong.
Like Chris already said, ChessSystemTalX had problems and several times refused to move. Things like this sometimes happen, it will be better next time.
Skiull logged off (or lost connection) a few minutes before the start of the tournament and didn't come back.

Re: On-line engine blitz tourney January
Indeed. I happened to be watching that game (most of the evening I was AFK). Joker was totally winning, but it got a bit overconfidend, and allowed the opponent to advance two passers to 7th rank. It could then only stave off disaster by delivering perpetual check.
