I see that I am late and that Tony is the man! Good news! I will keep my post as a kind of archive, just to see that there were other versions older than 1.99.
------------
I had no luck this time. I found two sites of King of Kings that do not work nowadays but work with The WayBack Machine:
Neither of these King of Kings sites have saved copies of the ZIP files. You can browse through the sites and even copy the URLs of the ZIP downloads of some versions (not only 2.02), but they are useless. Some examples:
I was also unlucky searching "King of Kings" at rec.games.chess.computer, with few results to the first web. I hope that someone here still keeps a copy and is willing to share it. Good luck!
Oh guys, you are the greatest
Many thanks Tony and Ajedrecista!
I tried wayback but I didn't get any result. Hmm, seems I do it the wrong way.
But in this case I definitely have you
regards
Wilhelm

I have updated the King of Kings archive on my web site, adding version 1.97 and 1.98, as well as ChessR, an older program written by Koundinya Veluri, the author of King of Kings. The link is the same, http://tonyschess.x10host.com/KingOfKings.7z
Thank you to Hans-Jürgen Schäfer for sharing these treasures.
