It's sad to see companies going bankrupt, not being able to sell software they used to sell. Some of these are so obscure that they are not available to purchase anywhere, so we might never even get access to the data ever again.

Chessmaster 4000 Turbo - at this time I was playing with my CXG-Sphinx 40/50 chess computers. I got it from my wife to birthday and I was fascinated from the personalities and many other features. Since there my chess computers was very less used.
Then CB Fritz 7 - the beginning of playing engine vs engine online and have a lot of friendly people to talk. At this time there where a bunch of different engines online and a good atmosphere. Today it's absolut useless...

I would like to interview Mike johnson about his chess engines. Maybe in cologne 1986.
