Thanks to Jay, Finn and Jost.
Hope I've not missed anybody out.

Hello Graham:
Regards from Spain.
Ajedrecista.
I agree that this interface looks nice. However, I see something wrong: the displayed opening for the position is not a Ruy López, Cozio Defence (ECO C60) by no means, it looks more like a queen's pawn game. The assigment of chess opening names may need a review.
Regards from Spain.

I think that it looks up moves on LiChess and assigns the opening name from there, but I'll let Jay know, as I've had my suspicions too.

Funny thing, I had chess.com totally mis-assign an opening to one of my games today.
They probably drink from the same fountain.

Yes - we can't blame Jay for their faults.CornfedForever wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 1:55 amThen Lichess needs 'a review'!Graham Banks wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 12:35 amHi,Ajedrecista wrote: ↑Sun Jul 09, 2023 6:22 pm Hello Graham:

I'm just so very appreciative of what he and others have done.

Looks beautiful. Is it available anywhere? Can it be used locally to play against engine or run engine-engine games?
Regarding the opening name, maybe they could use eco.pgn file that comes with pgn-extract.
