Probably quite competitive, should be pretty fast and using little power at the same time. Performance per watt is where these CPUs shine, from what I've read.

In Apple's marketing maybe. Otherwise, all Apple has is the equivalent of a reasonable BIOS setting without crazy factory overclocking. Put the Ryzen 7000 and even Intel 13th gen desktops down to the same power level as the M1 Ultra (the M2 is less efficient), and you get about the same performance.Modern Times wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2023 7:57 pmPerformance per watt is where these CPUs shine, from what I've read.
