I've done some free lessons at https://learningchess.net/ and I thought they were good. I don't know how many free lessons one can take before being asked to pay.
Chess.com has some free lessons, but I haven't tried them. On the basis that everything I've looked at on chess.com is good, I think they'll be good.
Another suggestion (haven't tried it - probably not as good as prepared computer lessons):
1. get a chess tactics book from ebay (my personal experience is that second hand books are cheaper on ebay than on Amazon)
2. use the analysis board in chess.com (which is free) to attempt the positions shown in the book

My favorite one was chess.emrald, but went kaput 5 years ago. Been using ChessTempo ever since.
