Don't know...but to be honest, I don't really care because when you get down to it, it's a GUI more than anything else - always has been. It's value is in what it can do for it's owner, not mere 'elo'.

I see the new personalities and that really does not interest me.

However, I am intrigued by what looks like it might be an easy way to play against your own repertoire though. As I manage my databases (mainly) within Chessbase itself and have Chessbase open 24/7, I might pick it up for the heck of it. I have a brand new $3400 laptop arriving next week anyway.
